I have spent many boring hours on the buss, playing Peggle. And have to admit, I have forgotten to push the stop bottom several times because of it…. You will become hooked, and when done playing one level, you just have to play another! It is addictive, you have been warned.
Pop Cap’s Peggle history on iPhone is still news, but the game origins goes way back to the Japanese pachinko with falling and bouncing pinball’s.
The whole point about Peggle is to hit all the orange pegs by aiming on them with a trajectory. You will get ten new balls each level, but green pegs activate bonuses when hit. If you hit the green pegs you will get a special powerthat changes with each level. Powers that will make it easier for the next ball or balls you play. With the help of ten outlandish Masters, each with different powers, you will soon rise to Peggle greatness.
The whole game is full of colours, sounds, music and fun. The funny comments flashing on your screen while loading the game, keeps changing. The next time you decide to play some more Peggle, there will be new and even funnier comments while loading for you.
You can choose from four kind of game modes;
Adventure – the full game mode.
Quick Play – if you want to choose to play a spesific level.
Challenge – different challanges to choose from, like “Score more than 850.000 points over three levels!”
Duel – The two player mode if you would like to compete with a friend.
The game will save itself. Next time, the game starts exactly where you ended last time, but you can choose to start the level from the beginning though. A great feature, because you may get interrupted in the middle of a level, if there is only one ball and on orange peg left, it would be just too bad to have to play the whole level again.
Peggle is a skill building game. The more you play, the better you will get in judging trajectories, considering rebounds and calculating angles. The first impression might be that chance is the biggest factor, but your own skills are the biggest factor here.
