Transfer files through USB by using T-Pot
When you have a jailbroken phone, you sometimes want to add or move some files over to some directory on your iPhone. For unjailbroken phones, the only moving is accepted media files through iTunes or pictures through usb. No apps, gameboy games, movies etc. The easiest way to move files is by using SSH, but moving files through wireless network is slow, and unusable when you’re moving files that are several hundred megabytes.
T-Pot is a nice little addition to a program called Total Commander, that is used for file movements. T-Pot enables you to move files directly to your root system folders in the iPhone through an USB cable, allowing you to move large files fairly quickly. This guide will show you how you can do this. Be aware, I have not tested this on mac, but I know it is possible.
What you need:
A Jailbroken iPhone
Total Commander
T-Pot extention
Install Total Commander, and start it up. You will be asked to click the asked number.

Next is to extract the files in the T-Pot archive, and unzip it on your desktop, so you easily can find T-PoT.wfx.
The next is to click on the “configuration” tab above and then “Options”. An option screen will pop up.

Next you must click on “Plugins”, and click on “configure” under the File System Plugins. Find the T-Pot file you just extracted and add it. Then you must restart the program.
Next you must click on the file system tab to the left and choose the last one named [-/-] as shown on the picture.

Click the [T-PoT] tab and you will enter the file system of the iPhone. Good luck!
